Welborn Garage
During my time at Welborn Garage I did numerous projects: social media assets, videography (pre and post production), print materials, headshots, and more. Here are a few projects that I feel shows the range of projects and highlights my capabilities to initiate and complete a project with a team of people.
Embark
During my time at Embark I was tasked with creating graphics for upcoming webinars and blogs. I created and revamped presentations for consultants to present to current and potential clients. I also helped with editing short videos that highlighted key moments in the podcasts they would put out. Here, you will see some examples of graphics I created for LinkedIn posts.
Ja$ Album Covers
These album covers are for an up and coming rap artist based in Nashville, TN. I utilize images, my own painting skills, and Photoshop to create the album cover she desires.
Experimental Zine
This zine contains images created with a sticky mixture (heated brown sugar and oil) and a poem printed on standard 11x17 printing paper. I altered the physical poem in multiple ways and used the mixture to connect, mask or alter possible interpretations of the poem. Using an unconventional medium allowed for a more visceral feel to the zine. I also untilized Photoshop to further manipulate the photos taken of the experiment.
Visual Art
These are a few examples of paintings I've done throughout my art career. These were done in my free time simply for the joy of creating. I mostly use acrylic paint on canvas–currently exploring more mediums and projects that involve a more loose approach.
Book Cover Design: Love Captivated
This is a redesign of Frantz and Djenny Lamour's book titled 'Love Captivated'. The objective of this project was to simply reimagine the cover while still keeping the theme of the book in mind. I wanted to give the cover a more simplistic look with a rich, deep color to highlight the depths of marriage that can be reached with simple tools and biblical guidance.
Mantis Euphoria Invitation
This is a print project for an invitation to a world of 0's and 1's. A virtual escape from the mundane world with a promise of freedom. The excitement of potentially escaping this world through technology, but also knowing that the unknown is dangerous and could cost more than we bargained for. This was designed in Illustrator and I worked with a local print shop in Chattanooga to print off these samples.
